2. Navigate to the Downloads Section and click on the "Forms" tab.

4. Click on the download link to download the form to your device. The form will be downloaded in PDF format.
5. Take a printout of the form to fill it out manually. Many states allow you to fill out the form digitally, too.
Visit your nearest RTO office and collect Form 20. You need to fill out the form manually and submit it to your RTO office.
RTO Form 20 consists of four sections. The first section is mandatory for all vehicle users. The second section is applicable to transport vehicles, the third section refers to the inspection clearance done by the inspection officer, and the fourth part is signed by the financing authority to clear your registration application.

Enter your personal details, including your name, contact number, father’s name, and address under points 1 to 5.
Enter your PAN card details under point 6.
In point 7, you need to mention your birthplace. If your birthplace is outside India and you have moved back to India, mention that in point 8.
Enter your vehicle purchase date, the dealer’s name and address in points 9 and 10.
Points 12 and 13 require you fill in details about the vehicle class. Vehicle class has categories like two-wheelers, light motor vehicles (LMVs), and heavy motor vehicles. You can find the vehicle class in the dealer invoice.

The following documents are required when you are applying for a vehicle registration certificate.
1. Identity Proof: Aadhaar card, passport, voter card, driving license

9. Photograph: Two recent passport-size colour photographs
